Fair Housing: Leading the Way for Inclusion and Diversity

8 CREDITS

CLASSROOM

As REALTORS®, you are required to comply with the high standards of professionalism required in the profession, all agents must be familiar with the United States Fair Housing Act. This two-hour workshop provides a review of the key areas of the Act, as well as includes discussion, activities, and role-play opportunities. Registration will be limited in order to foster conversation and interactivity, as well as allow students to directly work with a CRS Certified Instructor to accomplish the learning objectives of the course.

Workshop Completion Outcomes:

  • List the 7 bases on which a violation of the Fair Housing Act may be made
  • Identify scenarios where the use of new technology may constitute a violation of the Act
  • Understand how cultural beliefs can impact a real estate transaction
