CRS Designees and RRC members participated in the REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF) 5K Run in Boston, Massachusetts, demonstrating their commitment to giving back to their community. 82 #TeamRRC members joined forces with industry colleagues to support the RRF’s mission of providing housing-related assistance to disaster victims.
The event, which raised more than $100,000 for the Foundation, brought together REALTORS® from across the country who ran, walked, and cheered their colleagues on. 82 #TeamRRC members showed their support through running, walking, and, most importantly, fundraising, contributing to the Foundation's vital mission.
#TeamRRC surpassed their goal of $2,000 by raising $4,463.
Two CRS Designees were the driving force behind the #3 fundraising team for the run, #Team RRC Wicked Smahht: Barbara Wilson, CRS, Arizona RRC 2024 President from Goodyear, AZ, and Sonia Guardado, CRS and Texas RRC 2024 President from Round Rock, TX. "Coming together as #TeamRRC in Boston wasn't just about the run – it was about showing our unified commitment to supporting communities in their time of need," said Sonia. Barbara said, "The energy and dedication shown by our members truly exemplified our 'stronger together' spirit.”
About the REALTORS® Relief Foundation
Since its inception, the Foundation has helped families stay in their homes following more than 100 disasters across the United States. Through the generosity of REALTORS®, the foundation has distributed more than $36 million in relief aid to victims of natural disasters.
Making a Difference Together
The success of the REALTORS® Relief Run 5K demonstrates how RRC members consistently step up to support important causes within the real estate community. By participating in events like these, our members show that being a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) means more than excellence in real estate means being part of a community that cares.
