It is with heavy hearts that the Residential Real Estate Council (RRC) announces the passing of our esteemed past president and CRS Certified Instructor, Frank Kowalski, Sr., on March 25, 2024.
Kowalski was the broker/owner of Metro Dade Realty, Inc. which he ran in partnership with his son, Frank Kowalski, Jr., CRS. He was a cornerstone of the real estate community, dedicating over five decades to the industry. Kowalski received his Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation in 1978 and was the first president of RRC’s Florida Chapter in1979.
Throughout his tenure at RRC, Kowalski held numerous positions, including that of past National RRC President in 1996 and CRS Certified Instructor. His dedication and expertise awarded him several accolades, such as the Medallion Award in 2002 and the Special Achievement to the Industry Award in 2015.
Beyond his professional achievements, Kowalski was a beloved mentor, colleague, husband, and father. His memory will forever have an impact on the Council and its members he inspired through his education and leadership.
